Marie Ame, a teacher, artist, & yogi, embarked on an artistic journey that led her to start an online business. Selling crystal bracelets to her yoga community sparked something magical. With natural growth & spontaneity, it took a life of its own.
1. Please tell us a bit about your online store
Marie Ame is a online spiritual and creatives shop that not only offers spiritual product, but products for your own personal entertainment and growth.
2. What else did you have going on in your life when you first decided to start your business?
I was and still am a teacher, artist and yogi. I was in the midst of one of my many artistic and creative processes when Marie Ame was born as a new desire and passion.
3. Why did you decide to start your own business? What inspired you to start?
I didn’t really plan it to be honest. It starts as me wanting to sell crystal bracelets to my yoga community and the rest just naturally grew on it’s own. It was all natural, spontaneous and kind of took a life on it’s own.
4. Do you have any advice for new store owners?
I think that you need to be really passionate about what you are doing and if you are the rest will fall naturally into place. Of course if you want to profit from it, it’s best to have some business plan.
5. What were the results you were hoping to achieve when you first signed up for a freewebstore?
I was hoping to have my known and unknow clients easy access to information and with full privacy order products without direct communication to me. I wanted people to feel comfortable to order products whether it be through me directly or with high regards to their privacy via my website.
I want my clients to be happy. The end goal of all my products is happiness. I start from myself, sometimes it’s just not my cup of tea to communicate with people and I would rather other stuff without human interaction, thus why online shopping should be easy, respect your privacy and human less.
6. What is your most popular product?
I have a few popular products, but currently, I would say that my crystal bracelets and sun catchers are usually the most in demand products. I am currently working on a new collection so I cannot pin point which one stands out the most.
7. If you could choose one magic power, what would you go for?
When it comes to my website, that things magically stock up and that I know what my clients want and desire in the future to help them along their journey of self healing and self love. I want to be there for people.
8. And finally, where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
I am hoping that my shop is still up and running and even more successful. I am not sure where I see myself but success in new ventures for sure as I am working on a few more projects currently.
