Welcome to the FreeWebstore Blog

17 Jul

Welcome to the FreeWebstore Blog. If you haven’t already signed up for your very own free online store, sign up now. It only takes a couple of minutes.

Over the coming days, we will walk you through everything you need to know in order to turn your webstore into an online success – from adding products and managing categories, to using your own domain name and getting your webstore and products to as many potential customers as possible. We’ll also provide you with useful selling tips and advice on how to keep your customers happy.

Getting Started

First things first. At this stage you will probably want to login into your online Control Panel using the username and password that you chose when you signed up. The Control Panel is where you can manage every aspect of your webstore.

From the Control Panel, you are able to add or edit products, organise product categories, setup postage rules and much, much more. Take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the layout.

We will discuss the most important features to help turn your webstore into a success over the next few days. For now, please login, have a play around and, if you need a hand with anything, check out the help guides in the Support section of the control panel or feel free to contact our Support team by emailing support@freewebstore.org.

Tomorrow we will look at how getting your own domain name can improve your webstore’s image, how you can get your store pages & products onto Google so everyone can find them and, most importantly, how you can start to make money.
